Anchoring into a granite slab does not allow a second try
Every point gets measured and marked before we drill. A hole in the wrong place in a granite slab cannot be patched — the whole slab has to be replaced.

You void the manufacturer warranty

A badly connected dishwasher doesn't leak on day one. It leaks six months later, inside the cabinet, and by the time you see it the floor has to come out.
Gas leaks
A gas cooktop or oven connected wrong is a real hazard. We leak-test every gas connection before we leave.
Venting done wrong
A hood with badly routed ductwork doesn't pull the smoke out: it pushes it back into the kitchen and spreads grease and odors through the house.
